Closing Announcement

Hey, there!

I know that things have been pretty quiet around here recently and it is with a heavy heart that I am here to announce that, after much contemplation and soul-searching, I have made the decision to close Mulberry & MacNab permanently.

Five years ago, without a business degree or any experience, I taught myself everything I needed to know and built a business from scratch while my 2 year old napped.  I am deeply proud of the business that grew out of those nap-time sessions, and over the last 5 years I have been so blessed to serve such an  incredible community of crafters, designers, and DIY enthusiasts. Your support over these last years has truly meant everything to me.

The decision to close this chapter hasn't been easy. As you may know, many small businesses are currently struggling just to stay afloat. Rising costs and falling sales have made it necessary for so many businesses to drastically scale back. I tried to hold out for as long as I could, but I no longer have anything left to give; I have cut and scaled back as much as I possibly can. I love this business with all my heart, but it is clear that it is time to let it go.

Before I sign off, I have one final request for all you. An important part of my mission with Mulberry & MacNab was to use the business to support other small businesses as much as possible and it devastates that I will no longer be able to do that; so if you love the small brands that we carry/carried, please continue to support them if you can!

If you want to know what happens next, I've detailed it all for you below. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out!

With heartfelt gratitude,

So What Happens Next?

Official Closing Date:
We do not as of yet have an official closing date as we are still waiting on one more fabric order to arrive. The aim, however, is to clear out as much stock as possible this month and be fully closed by mid-December.

New Stock Arrivals:
We are expecting one final shipment of See You at Six fabrics which are estimated to arrive in early December. These fabrics will not be discounted and, as always, newsletter subscribers will have first access to them.

Gift Cards:
If you have an outstanding gift card balance it is recommended that you use it before the end of the month as refunds cannot be issued.

Inventory Clearance:
Over the next few weeks we will begin hosting sales and offering discounts on certain items to help clear out the last of our inventory. All deals will be announced on Instagram.

*Please be aware that as a small business, I am not able to offer the same types of deep discounts you may have come to expect from large retailers.

Fulfilment and Shipping Times:
Due to the overwhelming nature and the amount of work involved in shutting down a business, please expect that fulfilment and shipping times may take a little longer than usual. Your patience is always appreciated.
