Sustainably and ethically made in Bangladesh by local artisans, this denim style lightweight cotton is handwoven with a unique green selvedge. It has a lightweight hand and a moderate amount of drape making it perfect for tops, dresses, and pyjamas.
Motif is 100% committed to the production of ethical fabrics for ethical fashion. All their Mati fabrics are handwoven by local fair-trade weavers using cotton, jute and other indigenous plant fibres making them eco-friendly and 100% biodegradable. Even the vehicles used to transport the raw materials and finished goods in Bangladesh, are fuelled by eco-friendly compressed natural gas sourced in country.
